Washington, DC-Given the tummultuous year that we've had here in D.C. around education.DC VOICE moves to mark the last day of school as a nod to what we can hope and plan for in the future by hosting a Community Schools.Action Planning Session two months following the introduction of the "D.C.Community Schools incentice Amendment Act of 2010."

Coalition of 100 to Show Up On City Hall's Doorsteps this Saturday for community Budget Hearing
Community members react to the Mayor's recently released Budget in support for Community Schools.ELL and Student Supports
Washington, DC - With the recent release of the Mayor's proposed FY 2011 budget, community members have demanded space to be heard and included in important budget implications. at last month's DCPS Performance Oversight Hearing.DC VOICE joined several other education organizatios to rally support from community members to urge City Council to include them in the upcoming budget hearing.
